Changing Your Dashboard Language
SuiteOp automatically detects your browser’s preferred language and adapts the dashboard to match. You can also switch languages manually at any time. This guide explains how language detection works, the two places you can change your language, and which languages are available.

Automatic Browser Language Detection
Section titled “Automatic Browser Language Detection”When you visit SuiteOp for the first time, the dashboard checks your browser’s language setting. If your browser is set to one of the supported languages listed above, SuiteOp loads the dashboard in that language — no action required.
Until you pick a language yourself, the dashboard keeps following your browser: if you change your browser’s language to another supported language, SuiteOp uses it on your next visit.
The Language Suggestion Banner
Section titled “The Language Suggestion Banner”If SuiteOp has saved an automatically detected language for this browser and your browser’s language later changes to a different supported language, a banner appears in the bottom corner of the screen offering to switch. The banner is written in the language you’re currently using and names the new language in its own script — for example, if you’re using SuiteOp in English and your browser is now set to French, you’ll see:
“Your browser’s language is Français. Would you like to switch?”
You have two options:
- Click Switch to [language] to immediately switch the dashboard to your browser’s language. This also saves the language to your profile.
- Click Dismiss to close the banner. It will not appear again for 24 hours.
Once you pick a language yourself — from the banner, the user menu, or your profile — SuiteOp treats it as your choice and stops suggesting a switch.
Manually Changing Your Language
Section titled “Manually Changing Your Language”There are two places to change your language, and they differ in what they save.
From the user menu (this browser only)
Section titled “From the user menu (this browser only)”-
Open the user menu
Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
-
Pick a language
Hover over the language entry (it shows your current language with a globe icon) and choose a new one.
-
Dashboard reloads
The dashboard reloads in the selected language. This choice is remembered in the browser you’re using; it doesn’t change the language saved on your profile.
From your profile (saved to your account)
Section titled “From your profile (saved to your account)”-
Open your profile
Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then click Profile.
-
Select a language
Choose your preferred language from the Language dropdown.
-
Save
Click Save Changes. If the language differs from the one already saved on your profile, it is stored on your account and the dashboard reloads in it.
Guest Portal Languages
Section titled “Guest Portal Languages”Frequently Asked Questions
Section titled “Frequently Asked Questions”What happens if my browser language is not supported?
Section titled “What happens if my browser language is not supported?”If your browser is set to a language that SuiteOp does not support (for example, Korean), the dashboard defaults to English and no language suggestion banner is shown.
Can I use a different language than my browser’s default?
Section titled “Can I use a different language than my browser’s default?”Yes. Pick a language from the user menu or your profile at any time. Once you’ve chosen a language yourself, the suggestion banner no longer appears.
Will my language follow me to another computer?
Section titled “Will my language follow me to another computer?”The dashboard language is remembered per browser. When you sign in on a new computer or browser, SuiteOp starts from that browser’s language; pick your language again from the user menu if it doesn’t match.
Does the language setting affect my team members?
Section titled “Does the language setting affect my team members?”No. Language is a per-user setting. Each team member can choose their own preferred language independently.
